In 1999, with the ownership of Sette Ponti and clearly determined to make his mark in the wine world, Dr. Antonio Moretti purchased a second estate after Tenuta Sette Ponti. With Carlo Ferrini’s help, he acquired the Azienda Agricola Le Fornace in the Maremma on Tuscany’s southern coast, an area that would draw intense interest from several highly regarded producers.
The Total area under vine is 15 hectares. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante and Petit Verdot are grown.
